FBI StingRay Non-Disclosure Document

Added By FourthEstate - Jul 5, 2016 - Government

Description

Oklahoma City police department was provided with the use of a StingRay device and required the police department “to use additional and independent investigative means and methods” in order to ensure the information obtained by the surveillance device “would be admissible at trial,”

This suggests that the use of the StingRay device would contravene the Fourth Amendments protections against unreasonable searches and seizures.
